Free SEO Tools. A Clearer Starting Point.
You do not need to buy an SEO package to start learning about your website. These free resources can help you spot issues, understand your search presence, and ask better questions about what comes next.
Some tools advertise a free quiz, diagnostic, or website check, then ask you to enter an email address or create an account to see more. Others work without signup. We label the requirements below so you can choose what feels right for you.
Run a check, send us the results, and we’ll help you understand them. We offer a free, plain-language explanation of the findings and a sensible starting point. No purchase is required.
Start Without Creating an Account
For a quick first look, try PageSpeed Insights and Seobility. The structured-data tools are useful if your report or website mentions schema markup. You do not need to run every tool.
Google PageSpeed Insights
No account required
Check how a page performs on mobile and desktop. See loading, responsiveness, and layout-stability findings, plus suggestions for improvement.
What to send us: Send the report link and the mobile results. Include desktop results if they tell a different story.
Free-access limits: Tests one page at a time. Real-user data may be unavailable for newer or smaller sites.
Seobility SEO Checker
No account for limited checks
Get a quick on-page check covering metadata, content, page structure, links, and technical issues.
What to send us: Send screenshots of the summary and flagged issues. A paid PDF export is not necessary.
Free-access limits: The public checker examines one URL and has daily limits. More checks require an account; PDF exports are a Premium feature.
Google Rich Results Test
No account required
Check whether a public page has structured data that could support Google’s enhanced search results, such as product information.
What to send us: Send the result link or screenshots of detected items, errors, and warnings.
Free-access limits: This checks supported structured data, not your entire SEO strategy. Passing does not guarantee an enhanced search appearance.
Schema.org Markup Validator
No account required
Check the structured data on a page and see which Schema.org types it contains. This is useful when you want to understand markup errors.
What to send us: Send screenshots of detected types and any errors or warnings, along with the page URL.
Free-access limits: This validates markup. It does not measure rankings or determine eligibility for every Google rich result.
Free Tools That Require an Account
These services provide deeper or ongoing reports. Set up your own account and verify your website when required. Free accounts and paid trials are different options; you can use the free features without committing to an upgrade.
Semrush Free Account
Free account required
Use a limited Site Audit to find technical and on-page issues. The free account also offers limited keyword, competitor, and backlink research.
What to send us: Send the Site Audit overview and issue list as screenshots or an available export.
Free-access limits: The published free allowance includes a 100-page Site Audit limit. Choose the free account; the separate full-platform trial asks for payment details.
Ahrefs Free
Account and website verification required
Previously called Ahrefs Webmaster Tools, this service offers Site Audit and limited Site Explorer data for websites you verify.
What to send us: Send the audit overview, affected URLs, and issue details. Keyword or backlink screenshots can also help.
Free-access limits: Verified projects have a monthly crawl-credit allowance and report limits. Free access does not replace a paid competitor-research subscription.
Google Search Console
Google account and website verification required
See how your website appears in Google Search. Review queries, clicks, indexing reports, and URL Inspection findings for your own site.
What to send us: Send relevant screenshots or exports, with the date range visible. Include the URL of any page with an indexing concern.
Free-access limits: Newly added websites may need time to collect data. This is an ongoing reporting tool, rather than an instant public website score.
Bing Webmaster Tools
Account and website verification required
Use Site Scan to find common technical SEO issues. Other reports help you understand how Bing discovers and indexes your website.
What to send us: Send the Site Scan summary and issue details, or screenshots of indexing and search-performance concerns.
Free-access limits: You need to add and verify your site. Scan and reporting limits can apply.
Send Your Results. We’ll Help You Make Sense of Them.
1. Choose a Tool and Run a Check
Use your homepage or a page that matters to your business. For a full-site audit, follow the provider’s account setup and verification steps. A single report is enough to begin.
2. Save What You Can See
Copy a shareable report link, take screenshots, or download an export if it is available for free. Include the summary and the specific warnings—not just the overall score. You do not need to pay to export a PDF.
3. Send Us Your Results
Use our website contact form to submit your results. Include your website address, the tool name, the test date, and your question. Paste a report link into your message or attach up to two PDF, JPG, PNG, or CSV files, up to 5 MB each. Choose a reply by email or text, then select “Send My Message & Results.”
Screenshots and exports are enough. Do not send passwords, verification codes, or account login details. Crop out information you do not want to share.
4. Get a Practical Explanation
We’ll help explain the findings, separate useful next steps from items that need more context, and suggest where to start. This free interpretation covers the results you send. If you want a deeper audit or help making changes, we’ll discuss the scope and cost with you first.
A Report Is a Starting Point, Not a Verdict
Automated tools can flag possible problems, but they do not know your whole business. Scores can differ between providers, and not every warning needs an immediate fix. A low score does not automatically mean you need a large SEO package.
We look at the actual findings alongside your goals. We want you to understand the recommendations before deciding whether you need help.
Not sure which service fits? Our own 12-question SEO quiz suggests useful starting points. It is free, shows your results immediately, and requires no email or signup.
These are independent third-party services. Their free features, limits, and signup requirements can change. Check the provider’s current offer before starting. Resource details last reviewed October 10, 2026.
